1. 1AIMS (the conducting body) explicitly does not run a centralised ATMA counselling process — each participating institute conducts its own admission/counselling session after results are declared, and candidates choose their preferred centre for that institute's rounds
2. 2Where an institute does hold rounds beyond direct score-based admission, ATMA's own published process has three stages: (1) Group Discussion, where candidates are grouped and judged on negotiation, managerial ability, communication, leadership and personality
3. 3(2) Written Ability Test, a short essay on a general topic judged on language ability, vocabulary, grammar and expression
4. 4And (3) Personal Interview with an industry/academic panel, focused on general awareness, extracurriculars, academic/career interests, communication and overall personality
5. 5AIMS's own published selection weightage is: ATMA exam score 50%, Group Discussion 10-15%, Personal Interview 15%, work experience 5%, and academic performance plus gender diversity 15-20%
6. 6Documents required at the admission stage: confirmation letter, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, graduation marksheet, ATMA scorecard, ATMA admit card, two recent passport-size black-and-white photographs, and caste certificate if applicable
