• For CMAT 2027 preparation, the main requirement is syllabus coverage and practice session
• Both need ample time and focused strategy as they have to prepare 5 subjects which arre of diverse nature
• The ideal time to start CMAT preparation is 6 months before the exam
• However, if you decide to start CMAT preparation in September or October, you can still be prepared for the exam by January

1. 1NTA (the conducting body) explicitly does not determine or participate in the admission/counselling process — there is no common counselling, and candidates must apply separately to each CMAT-score-accepting institute
2. 2The published admission process has four stages: (1) screening against each institute's own CMAT cutoff
3. 3(2) Group Discussion or, at some B-schools, a Written Ability Test (a 250-word essay) instead of GD
4. 4(3) Personal Interview assessing interpersonal skills, general/managerial aptitude and business knowledge — attendance at both GD/WAT and PI is mandatory, non-attendance disqualifies the candidate

• CMAT 2027 exam has not yet been conducted (scheduled February 7, 2027), so no percentile-cutoff figures exist for this cycle yet
• Each of the 1,500+ CMAT-accepting institutes sets its own cutoff independently after the result, and cutoffs vary widely by institute, programme and category
