PGCET is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority to decide eligibility and merit for admission to first-year or first-semester full-time and part-time MBA, MCA, M.E. and M.Tech courses in government, university, private aided and private unaided institutions in Karnataka. M.Arch admission needs a qualifying score in PGETA-2026 conducted by the Council of Architecture, together with registration for PGCET-2026 to join KEA counselling. Non-Karnataka candidates can select only seats surrendered by management for MBA and MCA.

KEA also released mock allotment cut-offs on 19 Sep 2026 and cut-off lists for MCA, M.Tech and Hyderabad-Karnataka seats, which were not read here.
