• Study every topic as each of the five sections has equal weightage in MAT In the next two months practice MAT mock tests, sample papers, previous years' question papers and do revision For MAT Language Comprehension section, you will need to be well read and well practiced

• MAT is easier than other MBA entrance exam but requires separate preparation due to its nature

1. 1AIMA (the conducting body) has no role in candidate selection for MBA admission — around 700+ colleges accept the MAT score and each sets its own selection criteria and admission process independently, though a Personal Interview is the one common screening step almost everywhere
2. 2Candidates can select up to 5 participating B-schools directly within the MAT application form (selecting a 6th college onward costs an additional fee)
3. 3AIMA forwards the candidate's latest attempt score to those institutes, which then evaluate MAT score plus academic record to shortlist for PI, sending a call letter by email with the registration deadline, WAT/GD/PI date-time-venue and required documents (MAT admit card copy, MAT rank/scorecard, Class 10 and 12 certificates, graduation marksheets, passport-size photographs)
