  • Preparation is based on the Telangana Board Intermediate (Class 11-12) textbooks for Maths, Physics and Chemistry, supplemented by TS EAMCET/TG EAPCET previous-year question papers (2018-2026 available) and chapter-wise weightage analysis highlighting high-yield topics such as Complex Numbers and Probability (Maths), Electrochemistry and GOC (Chemistry), and Mechanics and Electrostatics (Physics)

  • Candidates log in with registration number, number and date of birth to view/download the rank card showing marks and rank, which is then used for the process run by TGCHE
  1. 1TGCHE runs TG EAPCET online via tgeapcet.nic.in in 7 steps: (1) Registration & fee payment on the counselling portal
  2. 2(2) for a Help Line Centre (HLC) visit
  3. 3(3) In-person document/certificate verification at the HLC
  4. 4(4) Web Options entry -- logging back in to rank-order preferred colleges and courses
  5. 5(5) Seat allotment based on rank, category and options
  6. 6(6) Payment of tuition fee online plus 'self-reporting' to confirm the provisional seat
  7. 7(7) Physical reporting to the allotted college with original certificates and fee receipt
  8. 8The 2026 cycle ran 3 main rounds, one internal sliding round, and a final Spot round (Aug 19-20, 2026) for seats still vacant after the main rounds, held separately for the MPC/Engineering and BiPC streams
  • Two types: (1) Qualifying cutoff -- General candidates need 25% of maximum marks (40 out of 160)
  • No minimum marks required for candidates
  • (2) Last ranks -- the at which admissions end at each participating college, published round-wise and category-wise by TGCHE after each phase
